Key. Don't overanalyze stuff. Take a chill pill. Oosa your problems. and live.
Indeed it was! I spent it with my mommy. It was so beautiful outside. Super sunny with a near perfect breeze, so we decided to go up to Cupertino for some quality hiking and wine tasting. With the fact that a hundred bugs were buzzing in my ear and my lovely spring allergies were in full affect put aside, i had a splendid time :)
We hiked, we drank and i even saw a mini WATERFALL! Ok, not that exciting i know, but i was stoked. The trees were a luscious green color and the flowers were at their baby bloom. mmm. i love the outdoors!
Now...for the wine review. Wow. New found love! We were able to try 5 wines for $5 which was sweet. The little man behind the counter even managed to sneak in a club member only wine for me! 1 bonus point! I tried the Rose, a gorgeous pink wine which was splendid dahlinnnn' *pinky finger up* Next, Sangiovese and um..? forgot but they were red wines. Pair those babies up with some artery clogging red meat and Booya! i'd be floating on cloud nine! I ended this pleasurable experience with my desert wines. One word. an extended aaahhh-mazing. Port was smooth and great with chocolate; my mom was poundin' it down. Mission was served on the rocks and a zest of limon. Muy classy and enveloped my palate perfectly!
Yipee for Barefoot coffee! Isn't my coffee just the cutest thing you've ever seen? I ordered the Cubano which is 2 espresso shots and half and half creamer. Gee got the Cafe Brulee, an espresso with sugar in the raw poured on top of the foam and then blown with a blow torch. Awesome? Creative? unique? i think sooo. The pastries were half off after seven which is a MAJOR score for those few crackheads like myself who enjoy drinking lattes at night. Orange Brioche and silky smooth coffee *droool.* I deserve a slap on the wrist for eating it though. They even offer a Saturday 10Am (FREE mind you) class to teach you about the acidity, boldness blah blah of coffee! Mmm. Yummay yummay. I love playing Coffee Connoisseur.
What an unusual movie. 18 short pieces from 20 different directors. Like a sample platter of sweet confections. I giggled, i cried, but In the end i was left with a huge question mark imprinted on my forehead. Maybe good for movie buffs, but not for the everyday person. Although the movie wasn't an hit in my book; i could say that after watching this omnibus flick, i've never been more eager to visit Paris again. Oh, you city of love, how i love you.
